He is survived by his mother, Norrice Carrion step-father, Tillman Ware wife, Cynthia Kayati three daughters, Kristian "Sissy" Carrion, Myra Carrion, all of Abilene, and Kayla Paige of Crockett two step-sons, Adam and Abadel Kayati, both of Lubbock three granddaughters, Tiannah, Ashari and Kamarii and one grandson, Kaylon Kalra. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nicholas Carrion, Sr., and Eloise Carrion father, Earl Henry uncle, Nicholas Carrion, Jr. He will be especially remembered for his caring, giving spirit and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking and embraced his family with love. He showered his three granddaughters with the love only a grandfather could. He traveled and visited many places while sailing the seas aboard the USS Paul.Īfter an Honorable Discharge from the Navy and returning to Abilene, he was employed at the Dixie Pig and Denny's restaurants for many years where he enjoyed his positions as a cook.Ĭhris was a member of Galilee Baptist Church, where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He continued in ROTC at Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas, where he later graduated with ROTC honors.Īfter graduation, he went on to serve his country enlisting in the United States Navy.
